The ICC have announced the prize money for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup set to take place next month in the UAE.
The ICC have lifted the total prize pool for the 2024 edition to an impressive $7,958,080 (US$) — more than double that of the 2023 edition.
The upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 is set to feature a remarkable increase in prize money, with the champions walking away with an impressive $2.34 million. This represents a substantial 134% rise from the $1 million awarded to the 2023 winners, Australia.
The runners-up will also see their earnings rise significantly, receiving $1.17 million, an increase of 134%. Semi-finalists will be rewarded with $675,000 each, more than tripling their payout from the previous year.
